artists statement

The work suggests seeing the world and ourselves through our eyes and fingers. I sought a personal language through clay and have found a way of communicating this through the work. An equilibrium has been drawn from persistence and experience. I have control and the freedom to express myself creating an emotional presence. The work is an abstract vocabulary of metaphorical architecture, the structure of form and space. One builds walls - physically and emotionally.
